Websites that behave like systems

When a site can answer questions, qualify visitors and book time, the brochure model stops making sense.

A brochure site presents information and hopes. A system site does work: it answers the question that was blocking the decision, captures context and moves the visitor into a scheduled conversation.

That shift changes what you design. The unit of the page stops being the section and becomes the action, with everything around it justifying that action.

AI helps here in unglamorous ways — an assistant grounded in your real documentation, a form that adapts to what was already said, a search that understands the question rather than matching keywords.

The constraint stays the same: fast, accessible, understandable without JavaScript. Intelligence is not an excuse for a heavy page.
